Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As a teacher in a low-income/high-poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. My students are in a special education program (12:1:1) and come to school each day motivated, engaged, and excited to learn. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking forward to providing my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
My students come from a great, supportive community in which teachers and parents work together to provide the best and most positive environment for each child.
My students come from a variety of backgrounds and each brings amazing and new experiences to the classroom each day.
My Project
Our class is requesting Polaroid ZIP Mobile Printer in order to capture, refer to & reflect on the learning and progress that will occur in our classroom throughout the upcoming school year.
My students are visual learners due to their range of learning challenges and being provided with the opportunity to take picture of important events, fun moments and memories would be a great motivational tool.
The Polaroid ZIP Mobile Printer can take pictures and print them on the spot which allows for my students to refer to great memories, bring photos home and make collages of trips, school performances, STEM projects and more.
