My students need an environment that suites their special learning needs. We are so full of energy and need to bounce it out using the Gaiam Stay-N-Play. Working together would be easier using Norwood Stools.
Our classroom community is a part of a wonderful Title I school. We are a diverse school with over 20 languages spoken at our school. Our lovely learners come from homes where they speak more than one language and are learning English as well! Sometimes we even need a translator to communicate the amazing work our students are doing. In addition to this, we have special little learners who have special needs. We also work hard to make sure they are learning in an environment that best suites them.
Our community of special learners is truly amazing.
They greet us every day with a smile and a story. We love hearing about their interesting lives. They inspire us and their fellow peers with the hard work they put in everyday. Everyday is an adventure with a smile and a laugh. You never know who will surprise you next! I look forward to spending time with these lucky little learners and making sure they come in to a warm and friendly environment that meets their needs.
My Project
We have a wonderful group of students who each learn in their own special way. Providing an environment which is different than your regular desk and chair, allows each student to access their thinking in a whole new way. How do you learn? Do you like to lay in your bed reading a good book? Or what about tapping into your potential using bands and stools.
Let's get creative in the way students learn.
I would love to see my students working in a comfortable and suitable learning environment. We started using scoop rockers in our classroom library and independent reading has become the highlight of the learning day. Each subject could be special with the help of the items like the Gaiam Sitting Ball, cushions, and lap desks. Each student would have their individual needs met with flexible seating arrangements.
