This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach an inquisitive bunch of 4th graders who love learning! My students live in a low income school district, and each year more and more cuts are made to our school, greatly affecting the resources we have. I work with a wonderful group of teachers that work hard to provide our students with meaningful learning experiences; however, we have little money to do this.
Each day our students come to school eager and ready to learn.
They don’t let the financial hardships interfere with their desire to learn and be the best they can be.
My Project
I am asking for board games to give to the students at Christmas time. I would love to be able to give every student in my classroom a game to take home to play over Christmas break. The new board games will allow the students to communicate with family and friends while learning to take turns and work together.
These games are a wonderful opportunity to help encourage time together, critical thinking, and cooperation!
Please consider funding this project and helping me provide a gift for every student in my class. Thank you for your time and consideration!
