My students are incredible learners. They visit my classroom to learn reading, language, and math. All of my students are below or well below average compared to their grade-level peers. All of my students are willing to help others in the classroom and they never leave a student struggling behind.
The students are creative, thoughtful, and willing to do their best.
They learn best with hands-on, engaging activities. I enjoy working with each of my students because they are all so different. It's fascinating to see how similar yet how different they are and learn compared to one another.
My Project
It's hard to sit in a classroom for 8 hours each day being expected to sit still and do work. That's why it is important to give students a healthy break from their demanding day!
Yoga helps students unwind, improve motor skills, focus their attention, develops their self-confidence, and promotes a healthy lifestyle.

Our children often live in a hurry-up world with busy parents, homework, sports, friends, and games. Adults often think that children are not affected by life's stressors and that they have life so easy. That is simply not true.
Children are affected just as adults by different kinds of pressures. Yoga helps counter those pressures. Children learn self-health, relaxation, self-esteem, and body awareness.
