My Students

I love teaching and that each student is unique. We are a "family" and love learning together in the classroom.

My students face many obstacles in the classroom and each student has a different set of learning needs.

This project will help them to learn in the best way possible and will make their learning more individualized.

Students with learning disabilities need diversity in learning materials. Technology helps to accommodate learning in unique ways that help to keep students engaged in learning.

My Project

All students want to shine and be successful in the classroom. Students in Special Education need accommodations and modifications to be successful learners. Having computers available for each of my students will allow me to individualize learning and to reach the needs of my students.

The computers will be used for: 1) reading assistance, audiobooks, and large print reading, 2) Math learning programs and 3) Writing time, which will consist of voice typing.

Google classroom will be used to individualize classroom work for each student and allow students who are homebound to still participate and not fall behind on their learning.

I am a new classroom teacher this year. I have a limited amount of computers available in my Special Education classroom. Help me to meet my students learning needs, so they can continue to grow as learners and shine.
