Special Education Students Need The Right Table

Help me give my students a whiteboard horseshoe table so that my students can sit with an aide or me and learn in a small group setting.

My Project

My students are first and second-grade special education students in a self-contained classroom. They need a lot of 1:1 attention and modeling to know what to do during learning time. They have trouble sitting at a regular table because the students are seeing the teachers at an angle that is difficult for them to work together.

By giving my students a horseshoe table, a teacher or aide can sit behind the table and the students can sit all the way around where the teacher or aid can constantly assist and model for the students.

This table also has a whiteboard so students and teachers can write on the table and then erase it which makes schoolwork much easier and more fun for the students. Students can solve math problems on the table and share their work. Students love writing on whiteboard tables and seeing what their peers did.

This table will make learning so much better for my students.
