Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students are humble, gracious, motivated, and caring despite the challenges they encounter. Our school is located in Corona, Queens comprised of more than 90% low-income families who desperately need access to technology at home to help their child. It is also the hub of the pandemic. Many of our dear children are doing all of their work on a cell phone they share with family and siblings. We have made a lot of academic progress over the last year and we want to ensure their success. Please, if you can spare a small donation and help spread the word, you will change a life during this ordeal and we will eternally be grateful.

My Project
Our school is closed for the safety of our students and staff due to COVID-19 affecting NYC! As teachers, counselors, and providers, we want to continue teaching through remote learning but many of our students lack access to technology! We are asking for iPads so our students can access the lessons we are creating on Google Classroom! We would like minimal interruption of their learning. We set up our Google Classroom with lessons and activities for our scholars! The next step is providing them with the technology necessary to access this great remote learning tool! Please help spread the word to help our deserving children.
