My Students

My students have special needs. All of my kids are on an alternative track in the education system. This means the kids are learning from adapted content standards that are different from their same aged peers. We have circle time twice a day and we sit on the carpet together.

My Project

I teach kindergarten special needs. We sit on the carpet a lot during our school day. I am hoping to get a new carpet for my kids that is clean and comfortable in order to help them focus on learning. This carpet will be used a lot but its most important times will be during morning and afternoon meeting. We sit on the carpet in a circle during these times and learn. Our current carpet is very old and stained, so a brand new one would highly benefit my classroom!
