Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I serve students with severe and profound disabilities. These students often have needs beyond basic school supplies.

They require assissted technology that the district may not provide such as modified writing utensils, modified seating options, communication programs and devices.

These students need options to create unique learning environments. It is very important to provide these students with as many resources as possible to facilitate their social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth.

These students often have limited opportunities for social engagement due to limited communication skills and the need for social skills training. Thanks in advance for your consideration and support.

My Project

These items will help my students learn new skills in a unique environment. The students needs are great all of the items requested will be used entirely for the benefit if helping each student acheive their educational goals. Words are not enough to thank those who so freely give to the most vulnerable group of students. I am sure the students will be very happy to recieve all of these items.

All of these resources will help improve the communication goals, reading and functional goals for each student.
