Help me give my students plastic book bins to store their reading books in my room!
This project expired on June 22, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My kids have such big hearts! They love to help each other out, and are so caring. They have such a drive for learning and get so excited when they learn something new. My students come to school each day eager to learn and ready to conquer the day.
I deal with a range of special education students from first grade to fifth grade.
My first graders are such a joy to have and are always smiling, especially when they finally grasp a concept. They love to come into my room, do their very best, and get rewarded with playing with the stuffed animals (Sponge Bob in particular!). My fifth graders are learning to be independent and prepare for high school. They struggle with reading and writing especially, but try their very best every time I work with them.
These book bins will allow my students to keep books in my room for when they are finished with their work.
I have students bringing their book bins from their classrooms, and sometimes we forget them so we have to waste precious learning time to go back and get their book bins.
My older kiddos don't bring books and want to use their laptops to read, and then they play on their computer instead of reading. This will allow my kids to pick books from my classroom library or the school library and leave in my room in a safe spot.
