My Students

I have 89 ELL, English Language Learner, students who are at various stages of English proficiency. Most of my students come from lower economic demographics and multilingual families. They all have a strong desire to learn and work hard to meet their goals. Our school district has been 100% online since the start of school due to the high number of COVID cases in the city. My students are hesitant about speaking in front of their peers online. I want to build their speaking confidence which will then enable them to engage in discussions at a higher level with their classroom peers and teachers.

My Project

Our school district is currently teaching and learning 100% online while the city's daily COVID positive cases are at an extremely high level.These downloadable Teacher Pay Teacher items will allow me to create speaking prompts that are interesting and engaging to my ELL, English Language Learner, students.

These prompts will allow me to teach live, online sessions and record example sessions for student practice.

These pictures and prompts are fun an engaging, making it more appealing to practice talking to another person through a computer. Your support will be greatly appreciated.
