My Students
My school population is 42% African American, 31% Hmong, 17% Hispanics, 6% White and 4% Other.

Many of my scholars are growing, learning and developing in a school community where many materials are needed due to scholars coping with trauma. However, they are dreamers, explorers, creative thinkers, talkers and very inquisitive about the world around them.
I see my young scholars as future leaders, ambassadors, world travelers, scientists, entrepreneurs and teachers. They all are an inspiration to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. Because my scholars are our future, I want to give each of my scholars a passion for learning as my teachers once did for me in the past.
Our school is an urban, public school with almost seven hundred and twenty scholars. Our scholars come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with one hundred percent of our scholars receiving free breakfast and lunch.
My Project
The voice amplifier products will make a difference by enhancing my scholars' (including the English Language Learners- ELL) oral language development skills and help them hear themselves speak aloud.
Write the Letter Activity Center will be able to help my young scholars with their fine motor development skills in an engaging and fun way.
This skill-building activity center gives early learners a hands-on way to explore letters as they practice printing perfect letters on mini magic boards.
I need your help in getting voice amplifiers and engaging fine motor development materials- so my young scholars can have fun using their words and practice writing their letters in small groups.
