My Students

My students are grades 9-12. We are 100 percent title one. This is the first year they are introducing a vocal music program.

My students are very talented and they need materials to work with to learn the very aspects of Music appreciation and enjoyment.

The students are very eager to learn more but we are in dire need of materials to get started for this new year. With the materials provided, they will be able be on the level of other districts and school.

My Project

This project will enable my students to use the bluetooth speakers to rehearse with their particular section and define vocal parts for the entire ensemble. Presently, they are singing Acapella and need devices to hear for perfect pitch, rhythm, dynamic.

Within a particular classroom period, which is 50 minutes, this will help speed up the rehearsal time with sectionals.

Also, it will enable the ensemble to travel around to different areas of the school and community to perform.

The bluetooth speakers will enable student to use their iPods, cell phones or computers to sync with. This will definitely benefits our program greatly.
