Speak Loud and Clear: Giving Students a Loud Voice
Help me give my students a voice to be heard. By providing my students with this QBall microphone ball, students will be able to have fun, speak loud and clear, and have a voice in our classroom
All students should have a voice. In a class full of soft spoken as well as boisterous personalities, having a QBall microphone ball, will help all students to be able to have a voice and be heard.
My classroom is a wonderful place to learn for all students, including general education, English language learners, and special education students.
I want to provide the best learning environment for all learners, where everyone can have a voice and be empowered to learn.
I teach in a suburb of Chicago, in a third/fourth grade public school classroom, currently composed of 27 students.
My classroom consists of both general education and special education students. We are a very transient district, where children are constantly coming and going. The students are eager to learn, but at times have difficulty staying focused and lack participation.
My Project
In a classroom with such diverse needs, such as special education, English language learners, and everyone in between, it is important to teach the students to be proud of what they have to say. Trying to get all students to participate, and have their voice heard can be difficult. By providing my students with the QBall microphone, my students will be able to have fun and be heard when they speak to the class.
This ball will be utilized during instruction when students have answers to share, but it will also be used during our peace circles and morning meetings.
By using the QBall, I am optimistic that more students will want to participate and all students will want their voice heard!
