Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are hard working and determined athletes looking to continue their path of being the best they can possibly be. These kids have the ability to reach a high rate of success, they just need the equipment to do it.
The knee sleeves I'm asking for will benefit all athletes in this school, giving all the chance to push for greatness.
My Project
With the knee braces, foam rollers, and wrist wraps requested in this project, we can safely and efficiently teach our kids how to lift and become stronger for their sports. All sports need strength and explosiveness. It is necessary to give every student a foundation to build upon, while also protecting them from injuries. With the various wraps, we can ensure our students can properly preform lifts, they will also keep minor slip ups from turning into someone getting hurt.
For most of my students this is the first time being introduced to exercises in the weight room.
Especially for a sport like football, where you must be not only fast, but also strong, having to block, tackle, and break tackles on the field. This equipment will give our football team the competitive edge they have been needing at this school for years.
