"The more things that you read, the more that you'll know. The more that you know, the more places you'll go." Seuss' wise words echo what I try to teach my students daily. Having two iPad Minis would allow my students to take the world into the palm of their hands and grow with the 21st century.
I teach in a diverse school where all students share a love for technology.
Within this school, I teach a class of third graders that are enthusiastic and eager to learn. When technology is integrated into their day, they thrive! With the use of iPad Minis in the classroom, students of all abilities, strengths, and weaknesses succeed.
My Project
Having two iPad Minis in the classroom would help my students access the newest iBooks available and foster a love for reading in the 21st century. They would also allow us to stay connected with everything my students are going to need to know, as well as the technology skills that they are going to need to succeed in today's world.
As teachers, we face the challenge of connecting what we do in the classroom to our students' personal lives and the world around them.
For our students, the world around them is filled with technology. In order to prepare them for the 21st century world, teaching with technology is a must! Having iPad minis in my classroom will not only make a BIG impact, but it would allow students to grow and learn with the world around them.
