My Project
My students love learning and also love playing. I want to motivate and encourage my students to use the language while playing. I especially need them to be able to work independently. The right learning center can allow students to express themselves and use the language in a nonthreatening way. I can post a prompt that allows for a nice interpersonal exchange. Of course I want to get my students actively using the target language, but I also want to get them moving and collaborating. Station rotation allows me to act as a facilitator. As students work and move from one station to another, I can check in with each group or individual student. These check-ins help me measure students’ progress.
