My Students
My students are an amazing group that looks forward to being able to communicate with others in Spanish. They understand the importance of being bilingual. They appreciate and respect materials that are donated to our class.
Many, if not all, of my students are on free and reduced lunch.
While we are a Title One school, the importance of funding Foreign Language classes is often overlooked. Please help them develop the language skills they need to become competitive in today's multicultural and multilingual world.
My Project
In order to be competitive in the job market in Florida my students need to learn Spanish. Playing scrabble will help them use their newly acquired vocabulary in a fun setting that is natural for them. These scrabble sets will last for years and will help thousands of students (literally) master Spanish.

My students are your future employees and care takers. They say that a person who speaks two languages is worth two people. speaking a second language helps to view the world from a different perspective. This activity will only help them converse in another language, it will also help them work on creative problem solving.
