Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are energetic, bright and with a lot of desire to learn and be successful. I am very proud of the community for which I work and of my students. If I had to describe them in a single word I would say without a doubt that they are: resilient. I feel fortunate to be able to help shape their lives every day.
In my class the students not only learn an academic subject, but also tools to be better citizens and values.
My students are cheerful, dedicated and very special children who, regardless of their life circumstances, have faith in themselves and a better future.
My Project
With these school effects I am going to create a station so that the students have at their disposal different materials for the class. An area designated for them will motivate them to create and do a better quality job.
In the Spanish class, students have the opportunity to be creative and demonstrate what they have learned in different ways.
In my class the students make brochures, menus, family trees, and foldables among others. The notebooks are extremely important for writing their vocabulary words and learning grammar. My wish is that students have access to different resources and a pleasant area designated only for them.
