My students need Breakout EDU kits for an exciting start to the school year that can also be used throughout the year to keep them on their toes.
This project expired on November 15, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
This group of students is the first group to complete the elementary Spanish Immersion program and continue on to middle school Spanish immersion. Three hours of their day will be spent learning Spanish as a Second Language as well as Science and Social Studies in the target language of Spanish.
These students are highly motivated and many know each other well.
They have spent the past 7 years of elementary school together and really want to become fluent in Spanish all while learning the same content as their age group.
I have not gotten the chance to teach these students yet, but I am looking forward to providing some engaging lessons for them. Breakout EDU provides a creative way to build community, think critically, and use communication skills to collaborate in Spanish!
These students have been learning Spanish for many years yet still lack the confidence to converse. Breakout EDU kits will encourage the students to think and use Spanish to solve content based puzzles.
The Breakout EDU kit is a unique collection of resettable locks, boxes and items that can be used to play 100s of immersive learning games.
This kit will keep the language alive in our Spanish immersion class.
I'm excited to see the students find themselves in new roles within the group as they think out side of the box. They will lose themselves in the content as they find themselves using new content or performing research to find the answers on their own. Breakout EDU is so motivational and a nice change from the typical lesson.
