Help me give my students books at their reading and interest level in Spanish. I am working on putting together a classroom library to foster confidence in my students in their ability to read in Spanish.
My students are avid readers in English. Many are high achieving academically and I am constantly pushed to challenge them. My students tend to be very lucky in that their parents are involved in the school and their children's education. Because they are already high achieving, the question is not how to get them where they need to be, but how to push them to become lifelong learners.

A class library would provide a constant source of enrichment. With a library I will implement a Free Voluntary Reading program where students will be encouraged to read just for the enjoyment of reading.

Reading is the best way for students to grow vocabulary, fluency, and confidence in any language, and especially in a second language.
A class library will provide students with access to a variety of books with varying topics and difficulty levels so that students of all levels can be appropriately challenged. Having books at the students' reading level is important as students develop confidence.
