Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our classroom family consists of 25 enthusiastic and determined Kindergarten students. My students are bilingual, and they are acquiring the English language while fostering their native language Spanish.

Many of my students arrive in the United States, and they are an eager group of outstanding students who strive to learn English and adapt to the culture.

All or most students come from low-income households.

My Project

Through this project you will help my students have a wonderful classroom/borrowing library.

It is essential for students to have access to books they can relate to and include characters that they can identify with!

This project will allow students to borrow books to read at home with their families. Spanish is the language spoken in their homes, access to Spanish books will encourage families to spend time together reading and learning in their native language.

This project will help us replenish our Spanish library which lacks books in readable condition.
