I have 44 students in Chinese immersion class. They study Chinese literacy, math science and social study in Chinese .They are so creative , engaged in the class. As a second language learner, books and teaching materials are important for my class. They both support and challenge each other every day.
Curious, enthusiastic and creative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge.
They are fearless when it comes to technology and, as children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world.
I would like to add some flexible seats around my guided reading table in my class. I am wanting 10 seats for my classroom. I will purchase these from Lakeshore learning. They will be used in my class for many years to come.
Space wobble cushions will allow students to move and balance reducing restlessness and improving focus while they learn!
Student's minds will work better when their bodies are moving. Some students need extra sensory stimulation while working at school for hours at a time to help them do their best in my third grade classroom.
Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During independent work times they choose a location in the classroom that works for them. Currently my students are choosing to work in a variety of locations in our room such as: at different tables, sitting under tables with clip boards, or sitting or laying on the floor with a clip board.
