Help me give my students the tools to work through an interdisciplinary science and P.E. unit while working with the "Solar" System and being able to play fun interactive games with the "planets" such as asteroid ball!
My students are active participants in learning and care about what they do in school as well as for the community. The students take pride in being able to figure things out through processes, different challenges, and through project-based learning. The students get to tap into their interests at my school and it shows in the work of their products.
Students love to enjoy hands-on learning where they can connect solutions to real-world problems through the content and standards they are learning.
It is great to see the energy the students have when presented with topics and watch them take off with neat ideas, better solutions, or more efficient ways to solve things.
These materials are much needed to be able to go along with the space theme unit and learning goals in science and they provide our students with much-needed equipment for P.E. to work through these standards and games! The materials are the direct example of the planets and can be used for P.E. to show the correlation of the solar system and other space objects. It will be exciting for them to have an interactive and hands-on experience with the planets to enjoy this unit.
The project will last 4 weeks with the culmination of videos, presentations, and assessments that teachers will be able to assess the students on in both subjects.
