My Students

A typical day is my classroom is filled with learning and laughter. At the end of the year, I'd like for them to look back and say that they've tried their best and had some fun while doing so.

My first graders are all smiles and eager to start a new school day filled with learning opportunities!

We are a Title I school respectively, so my students come to school for an educational escape. My school acts like a family. We are already a close-knit group and everyone goes out of their way to help one another.

My Project

I am asking for the LEGOs Space and Airport set.

We are minutes away from NASA and frequently watch rockets launch into space!

I thought it would be awesome to have my student's build an airport and space-related things and in turn, get them to be creative and write about it! I would have students work together to build and then as a class we would practice our writing skills by making a story to go with it. The possibilities are endless and I look forward to making my student's learning fun again by incorporating the Space and Airport LEGO set.
