Students in our classroom are 11/12 year olds in 6th grade. I love teaching 6th grade- we can get goofy and have fun, students are still in awe of science and the “magic” behind it, but they are able to go in more depth of the content and are thirsty to learn. My students love to build and experiment, and add in their own personal touches on their work. We work hard, work together, and have a blast doing so!
My Project
Thank you for considering donating to the Sowa Science Classroom! I would love to obtain several rolling storage carts with drawers to allow my students to complete more labs, experiments, and activities within our classroom. The storage carts provided from this project will allow students the ability to store their labs, projects, experiments, and classroom supplies on a daily basis. Each class period of students will have two carts- and each group of students will be given their own drawer to store their work. This will help save classroom time, space, and sanity!
