Help me give my students quality art materials to use in our classroom including paint, real paintbrushes, and new, unbroken crayons.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are 97% African American and about 2% Latino. My school has two programs: one for the neighborhood children and the other is for the regional gifted center. It is a school recognized for its academic excellence. My students have not had a steady art teacher for a year and a half and exhibit so much talent and are in my heart already. I love teaching them. Many of them love drawing. Many of them ask me each day if we are going to paInt!
My art room was equipped with some basic white copy paper, golf pencils, and broken crayons when I stepped into my role five weeks ago. I want to give my students a beautiful art room with lots of beautiful crayons and paint and strong thick paper to engage them and help them access their creative abilities. They are wonderful children who keep asking where to put their wobbly papers to dry and if I have colored pencils or sharpie markers. These students deserve to use quality paint brushes and Crayola paints on paper that will not crumple under a bit of water. The older grades would love to use sharpie markers to go over their pencil lines on our drawing from observation long-term and short-term projects.
