At the end of the year when standardized testing is finished it's the perfect time to go on educational trips. The main issue at this time of the year is funds to take the children on trips. Most of the children are from single parent homes on public assistance. The small ticket fee is enough for many of my children to say they won't be going bacause we don't have the money. These young children need to get out and see the city and expand their young minds.
We have been studying Kenya for several weeks in Social Studies. I would love to take the children to the Bronx Zoo and visit the Congo. I would be taking 25 children and 2 adults. Thank you to anyone that can help us go on trips this year.
