Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My science and social studies students are eager to express themselves digitally! They are great at collaborating to produce PBL projects and other creative solutions to the world's problems!

Our school community includes students from diverse backgrounds, which only enhances our (online) classroom culture and climate!

We are a classroom family and love to be challenged with exciting problem and project based learning. The expectations are high in my classroom, and my students ALWAYS rise to that level of expectation.

My students persevere in their work and I am so proud of what they accomplish! Their teamwork makes our dream work!

My Project

I have saved specific items in my Teachers Pay Teachers account since our school district sent us home. Chromebooks are essential but no one ever mentioned how we (teachers) can get tools that would help our school to home transition. I have to scour the internet daily to find "free" materials to aid in my instruction , and subsequently, my students learning!

Teacher's in our district this school year are not allowed to use ANY of our union funds to purchase any online materials.

The school's budget did not include the thousands of resources that the TpT site can offer a teacher. I feel that my students would flourish with these helpful tools and aids.
