The students at my school have so little and I want to give them so much more. All of the students here come from homes below the poverty line, and I want them to have the chance to experience something that can influence their lives.
Our kids are so special that even without the resources, they still work just as hard or harder to try and rise to the occasion.
I love the fact that our kids already know the odds are stacked against them, but they face adversity head-on!
My Project
These products will be used for our students so that they have something warm to eat/drink while at school. This will certainly give them the nourishment they need to push them through the day.
During these dark and cold winter months, these students prefer a nice cup of hot soup or a hot tea or coffee to help warm their bodies and keep them focused for school.
The students really appreciate small gestures like these as it helps improve their overall attendance, behaviors and grades. Students are always looking for something to warm their stomachs during the school day.
