Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I work with 24 students who are low income. All of my students are auditory and visual learners. We are a Title I School. One student has speech, two students require special one-to-one attention, and all of them are enthusiastic learners. They come prepared to learn daily, and rely on me to make a difference in their lives. These students are dear to my heart, because I spend 5 days a week planning my lessons to make them knowledgeable in all academic areas.
My Project
My students are auditory learners, and cannot hear the speakers from my laptop when I show videos. The sound on the laptop isn't loud enough. The speakers I requested will pair up with my MacBook Air. In addition, the Echo speaker can be portable to take it to the auditorium or to the yard to be used. We can use the Echo to play music to dance to, and learn different music genres. There is also a timer that can use to time students on timed test.
These items will help my daily teaching, and the students learning very much.
