Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Disorganization is costly. Whether you're at home or in the office, it's stressful to be always looking for something. Organized people don't have that stress. Our students deserve the best learning environment possible!
We want to help set up that organization for our students to succeed!
Our students sit at desks with little room for storage. Some of their very vital resources are not at their finger tips causing more transition time and less instructional time. We feel that if each student has a seat sack, they would become more organized and have a better idea of where their resources are daily. They would have faster and more convenient access to materials needed at the drop of a dime.
Most of our students are English as second language learners. Our student body is diverse with origins from all around the world. Over half of the student body are English language learners and we are proud of our multilingual roots!
My Project
Seat Sacks will free up desk space in each students desk. This will allow resources that are located in various parts of the room to now fit inside their desk. Examples include their reading book baggies, workbooks and just simply pencils.
The goal is for each student to have a seat sack to have all their vital resources readily available at their fingertips!

A messy, (physically) unorganized classroom also creates a sense of instability. It is important to not only keep a tidy classroom, but to appropriately utilize space as well.
