Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I believe all students should experience the same academic devices, regardless of what social economic he or she is from. I am eager for my students to explore the world with technology, and I would greatly appreciate your help!

My school is located in a low economic area.

Most of my students are labeled "At-Risk" due to their socio-economic status. All my students were in a bi-lingual classroom last year, they are being transitioned into an English academic learning this year. Most receive free lunches. There is low parent involvement due to their busy work schedule. Yet they are very passionate about learning and are eager about any new discoveries.

My Project

The Nook will allow my students to explore technology while promoting literacy as well. Since my students are still getting more comfortable with English, I believe the technology provided by the Nook will inspire my students to learn more about Reading.

This project will change the lives and learning experience of my students.

My teaching philosophy is to have my students become life-long learners. You can help build the curiosity of learning to my students by providing the technology they can use in our classroom. Please make a difference in their lives!
