My students need these computer mice to help them learn to operate the computer. My students have trouble operating the mouse pad on their chromebooks. These mice will help eliminate that issue.
I teach two classes of Reading/Language Arts in a south Louisiana rural school. I have about 26 students in each class. My students spend the year learning computer technology and reading foundation skills to enjoy reading for a life time.
My Reading class is a place where students can explore new worlds and have adventures through books and technology.
Students learn to heighten their comprehension and enhance the reading experience while working with chromebooks.
The students are creative, engaged, and adventurous. They love to find new and exciting books in the library. My goal is to foster a life-long love of reading in my students.
My Project
My students have to learn to master their chromebooks within their year with me. Some chromebooks have different mouse pad functions. The students get frustrated when I have to teach 2 to 3 different ways to perform the right click function. They are trying to learn new programs and skills. It makes it more difficult when the computer doesn't do the task you are asking it to.
They use their chromebooks for everything in class and issues with the mouse pad cause frustration that leads to an unwillingness to proceed in the lesson.
These computer mice can eliminate the problem altogether. My students are more familiar with desktop computers so they will be able to do their work on the computer without the learn curve associated with the chromebooks.
