My students need a creative, attractive, and interactive learning environment. All of the materials that are requested will be beneficial; however the wobble chairs and answer buzzers will be extremely helpful!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I am starting the new year with new student at a new school. It is all very exciting but it also means that I am starting over again in regards to materials and classroom supplies.
This year, I will be teaching a 7th grade class!
My students are all from the City of Buffalo and come from different communities around the city. Having an attractive classroom with an abundance of supplies will help us all to have a successful school year!
My Project
I chose resources that I have found to be effective in a middle school classroom. First, the posters, rug, and decals will help to create an attractive environment, which helps to engage students from the beginning! The cleaning supplies will ensure that we have a healthy environment in which to work.
We all know that middle school students can sometimes have difficulty concentrating, that is why I have requested the wobble chairs and answer buzzers.
The wobble chairs will help with concentration while working at their desks and the answer buzzers will help to engage students in the lessons and make them more interactive! The cleaning supplies and decorations will create an attractive environment that students will want to learn in. The mailboxes and bookshelves will bring organization to the classroom. All together, these materials will help create a classroom everyone would want to be a part of!
