Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am extremely enthusiastic about giving students options to make learning engaging. I hope I can meet the needs of all students since we believe in inclusion for every child. There are some things that I believe would help students' learning, as well as make teaching more organized and fun.
It would be wonderful to provide a learning environment filled with items to help meet the students' needs and mine.
It is my goal to support diverse learning opportunities among students due to my belief that inclusion benefits all students' development.
My Project
These books on the planets in our solar system will help the students minds become more informed about other planets and be capable of selecting a planet to write a research report on. This create excitement about space and everything that goes with it including astronauts and space travel.
We will also be creating science STEM activities that will go along with space.
Students will watch videos of astronauts and discuss how differently things are done in space. We will try and recreate our own version of space within the classroom by writing a note underneath our desks, drinking some Kool-Aid from a bag with a straw, walking on some tin cans like if we were moonwalking, etc.
