Help me give my students the opportunity to design solar powered cars based on the needs of another person. The students will be conducting interviews and creating a car , using the design process.
My Gifted and Talented students need to be challenged in multiple ways. They are such a creative and talented bunch, and I need help to fund projects that will allow them to showcase those skills. Their families are not afraid to spend money when I give them assignments, but I would love to be able to provide the base cost for them to immerse themselves into a creative STEAM design experience!! These kids are the hardest workers in my school district and they deserve to have their curriculum enriched in ways that I can't afford.
My Project
These students will use these items to design solar powered cars, based off the design ideas of others. They will study the science of solar powered devices and also how to conduct an interview.
The students will interview others, and create designs that will appeal to their interests.
Each car will be built, tested, and designed by the individual student.
Students will use the art supplies to decorate the solar cars. They will also use recycled materials as well. They are very creative, and will love having access to all of the different art supplies and tools.
These students are excited to get to work designing!!
