My Students
My first grade classroom is a place for students not only to grow and learn, but to feel safe and secure.
Our small pre-k - 5th school is nestled between two mountains, in a rural mining community, with a total student count of 88 - of which 22 are in my class.
Many students are experiencing economic hardship at this time, or their families are being forced to leave our beautiful area. As a result, our school system is also experiencing cutbacks.
This affects our students, and their future.

My students need soft seats for circle time!
These soft pillows will make circle time more enjoyable for all students, providing them with a cushioned seat, and helping them concentrate on the lesson!
I have a few of these pillows in my classroom, and utilize them daily. However, I don't have enough for my entire class, and have to rotate their use between students. If each child in my class could have a comfy seat, it would mean a world of difference for them!
By having a pillow for each student, not only could they use them during circle time, but would be able to also use them to sit upon at their desks, if so desired. A comfortable student learns more!
