My students need an environment that is calm as school is often the place that they feel the safest. Light filters and alternative seating are options for them to work more comfortably to be more successful.

My Students

My students are eager learners who enjoy new experiences. We are working on being a more well-rounded class and group of kids. My class houses the ENL students so we have the honor of learning from each other as we strive to become more well rounded.

With a focus on mindfulness and social-emotional learning, we are striving to become better citizens.

Our school district has undergone several transformations in which we have found that our students have greater needs and we hope we can have your support.

My Project

Our students have lives that are chaotic and can be confusing and stressful. School is a safe haven and a constant that they can count on.

I am hoping to create a more calm and serene environment so that students can be comfortable as well as successful.

Our class has a focus on mindfulness and social emotional learning and I would love to add a bit more serenity to our room. By adding light filters it may help students who have undergone trauma by creating a calmer environment. The exercise balls would allow the students to get wiggles out while learning.
