My Students

I am super excited to have joined the fourth-grade team at SES. Most importantly, I am thrilled to be a fourth-grade teacher and am enjoying a year filled with learning, adventures, and fun.

I am happy to be a member of a community that is supportive and proud of where they are from.

I am lucky to be teaching at a unique school where students grow up with small-town experiences, and where classmates begin to feel like family—spending 4K-12th grade together.

When I'm not teaching, I am coaching after school. I have coached track & field and am head volleyball coach at SES. Most students at SES participate in sports year-round since there are less than 100 students in the high school. I am proud to be a coach for a sport I feel passionate about and a person that my athletes can count on each day.

My Project

Mizuno volleyball socks are expensive. More than half of the students from my school come from low-income households. Providing socks for these athletes will ensure that each athlete has the same uniform. A set of socks for each of our athletes will complete our matching team uniform.

Matching uniforms are highly important.

Each girl will have their own pair of Mizuno volleyball socks to wear at competitions. Each girl will have the same pair of socks. This creates a sense of equality. No athlete is more important than the other.
