My students are amazing. I've been teaching and/or coaching for over 10 years and I've never been more inspired to help a group of high school students succeed! Our kids are working towards a diploma at a competency-based, trauma-sensitive high school. Each student is so unique but they share a common experience of overcoming many obstacles on their path toward college and career readiness. Unlike many others faced with similar circumstances, they refuse to give up and continue to persevere on their journey towards graduation. I hope that with the right tools my academic and emotional support will help them move on from high school ready to live a happy healthy life!
My Project
Our students are in need of winter gloves and socks to keep them warm this winter. All of our students take public transportation to and from school and work. The cold New England weathers are much easier to endure with the right clothing. We are doing our best to help our students stay warm by putting together some packages with hats, gloves, socks and scarves. We are still in need of socks and gloves. With your help, we will be able to complete our warm winter packages for our students. Thank you for your interest in our project and helping our students succeed!
