My Students

My students are from a Title I School. They are an active group of high school students who are energetic, enthusiastic, and engaging. They love to show off their skills and share their knowledge. Coming from home lives that do not offer much more than their basic needs; these students come to school to feel comfortable and safe. I want to provide all of our student athletes with a water bottle for themselves.

My Project

This project will be to provide our girls' basketball teams another game ball to use for practices and warm up before game time. We currently only have 2 official game balls and an extra one would make a big difference. The black socks are also needed to allow all girls to have matching socks for game time. They look great in their warmup and matching shoes, but the socks look bad. There are enough socks for each player to get one pair to which they would be able to keep after the season.
