My Students

My students come to school with very different backgrounds. Many come from broken homes, don't see their parents before bed or have a stable foundation.

ALL of my students have big hearts and many are working past some pretty tough stuff when they are not here at school.

Each and everyone of them try their best, put on a game face and come to school each day ready to go.

I would like them to have a safe and comforting place to come to everyday. A place where they feel like they can be themselves. Adding some social/emotional curriculum would help meet their needs.

My Project

Materials for social and emotional learning will extend to all areas of my students’ lives. What they learn from these resources they will be able to apply in school and at home for the present and the future.

I am looking for resources that my students can benefit from.

Using a few minutes each day to enhance and support social and emotional learning will help my students be successful in school and at home.

Building relationships and a classroom family is extremely important to myself and my students. While we work to do this each day having additional resources would be extremely beneficial.
