My Students

My students are from a rural community school district and are active, engaged learners who are ready to actively learn about the wide world around them. While my students are in middle school, they are still young teens who still require a great deal of movement in the classroom.

My star students are seventh graders from a rural farming community.

My students' strive to learn and explore the great world around them. We do a variety of projects throughout the year to help students understand and appreciate the diverse and wide world in which they live.

My Project

My class is asking for a kidney table so that we can work together in groups with the teacher to get help with our homework. A kidney table makes it so much easier to work with the teacher.

We are asking for a kidney table to make it easier to work with the teacher, headphones so that we can work on Chromebooks to do assignments, and a class set of Number the Stars to use during our Holocaust unit.

We are also asking for headphones so that students can use our Chromebooks to do assignments and watch videos. In today's world there is so much educational content on the internet to supplement projects and assignments in our class. Independent access to these resources is crucial to student success.

Finally, we are asking for a class set of novels to go along with our Holocaust unit. The book, Number the Stars is a short fiction book that helps students relate to the life of a child of the Holocaust.
