My students are continuing on their path of education accompanied by adolescence. This can bring several challenges but those challenges can be overcome with the appropriate support and resources. Several of my students are in need of the appropriate support and resources.
Therefore, it is my goal to help provide appropriate support and resources for my students.
During adolescence, students are going through several changes and can struggle socially and emotionally. This can have a huge impact on their academics. My students want to be successful, but may need some help along the way!
My Project
To be successful inside and outside of school, students need social and emotional education.
My project will help making learning social skills fun and engaging.
The items in my project are all activities that can be used in a small group of students. For example, the Learning Resources Conversation Cubes, Emotion Picture Cards, and Teen Talk Jar are great ice breakers to help students feel comfortable with each other. The Social Skills Board Games (6 pack) focuses on several different social and emotional skills. Students will be able to have fun and build up their mental health. The Compact Utility Cart will help me keep these new resources organized and create easy access for counseling.
