Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students have faced isolation through COVID impacts. Even at school, lunch has been offered in two sessions instead of one for all our students. We recently have rejoined our students into one lunch session. We have already seen the relief and excitement the students have to join all their friends and schoolmates at lunch. Our students gain confidence and community through sports, especially during lunch. These resources will give more students the opportunity to learn teamwork, and gain community. It also will give give students the opportunity to learn new skills or refine current skills.
