My Students

I teach wonderful students grades 1-3 with physical, intellectual and behavioral disabilities. My class is described as a life skills and we teach academics, social and behavioral skills, gross and fine motor skills as well as inclusion with their same age peers in the general education setting.

My Project

My students love sensory input, completing academic work for time with preferred items and learning appropriate play skills. Some of the items in my card are targeted as preferred items for particular students to use as motivation to complete tasks, others are intended to help them to engage socially.

These kinds of items have a huge impact on our ability to engage students in all kinds of tasks covering many areas and will be greatly appreciated.
