Hello, Thank you for considering my DonorsChoose Project! I work as a Librarian at a high school in central Massachusetts. It is a very culturally diverse but economically challenged neighborhood. I hope you will help me provide these diverse non-fiction resources (and one fiction novel) for my students to check out and read.
We need more books on our shelves that reflect our student population and our community. For the students here, the school library is their only refuge and place where they can read about the history of their community and culture. Many of them cannot access the public library - the books on my shelves are their only resources. These will be a good starting point to bring our library collection up to date with relevant, recently published resources and current topics. These resources will also support our faculty and staff in their curriculum. Your help is greatly appreciated!
