Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are amazing individuals that have non-traditional path to their academic success and life. Even with environmental factors that may cause strain on their lives, our students remain resilient and reach their goals. Their path to success is always inspiring to all of our staff.

My Project

These items will help students develop coping skills, and social skills to help them react to stressors better with in their home environment, and other social settings. This will also help our students develop new ways to talk about their emotions, identify their triggers, and develop a plan of action to overcome crisis in their lives. The goal is to help our students focus on healing , and providing them an outlet to feel welcome and safe.

Journaling will be used help our students express their emotions through writing, Fidget items will be used to help with anxiety, books will be used to help me develop a plan of action for each student, pens and crayons will be utilized to help students relieve stress.
