Our Students' are emerging learners Kindergarten through 5th grade. They are such a wonderful group with mixed interests, abilities, and goals. Some of my students are learning to read, write, and count, while some of their classmates are learning to imitate sounds or hold a paintbrush. The majority of our students have Autism. group loves to play with cars, sensory toys , learn new games, and listen to music! This year we will be focusing on social emotional learning with a multicultural approach.
My Project
Our students are ages 5 through 11 years old. We will use these materials to supplement our social emotional curriculum. Our mission is to create a school environment where everyone is heard.
With functional toys and sensory items, students will be able to engage during lessons and they will help support them.
These will give our students choice during independent learning time.
The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of and competency in authentic, meaningful writing about their emotions and culture.
